John Lennon - United Nations

 

The International Day of Peace is observed yearly on the 21^st of September. The United Nations Postal Administration has marked this occasion with the issuance of 3 stamps featuring the world-renowned peace activist and musician John Lennon. The year 2021 marks the 50^th anniversary of the recording of “Imagine”.

La Journée internationale de la paix est célébrée chaque année le 21 septembre. L’Administration postale des Nations Unies a marqué cette occasion avec l’émission de 3 timbres mettant en vedette le militant pacifiste et musicien de renommée mondiale John Lennon. L’année 2021 marque le 50e anniversaire de l’enregistrement de « Imagine ».
